The Hooper

The Hooper is a mixed-use, transit-oriented development located at 26th and Welton. The property is named after prominent Five Points resident Benny Hooper, who was the original developer of the Ex-Servicemen’s Club and The Casino Cabaret, now Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. Building on the diversity and heritage of Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood, The Hooper is another shining example of the revitalization occurring in one of Denver’s greatest and most culturally rich neighborhoods. As a partner on the project, Five Points Development Corporation is working with Impact Empowerment Group to provide workshops, training and opportunities for local Five Points contractors, skilled labor and vendors to keep jobs local and in the neighborhood.
